§ 23116 Kings County Boundaries

Key Takeaways

  • •Kings County has specific borders described by lines, corners, and landmarks.
  • •The borders follow straight lines, rivers, and township lines.
  • •The description starts and ends at the same point, making a closed shape.
  • •The boundaries include directions like south, east, and north, with distances in miles.

Example

Imagine you are drawing the border of Kings County on a map.

You start at a specific corner, then follow directions like 'go south six miles,' then 'go east three miles,' and so on, until you loop back to where you started. This draws the entire border of the county.
