§ 22843 Spousal Enrollment Restrictions

• •You can't be signed up as both an employee and a family member at the same time.
• •A family member can only be covered under one person's benefits, not two.

Husband and wife both work for the same company.

They can each get their own health insurance through work, but they can't both cover each other as family members. They have to pick one plan to cover the other as a spouse.
