§ 21250 Pension Payment Installments

• •Pensions and retirement money are paid every month in equal parts.
• •If the payment starts or ends in the middle of a month, you might get a smaller amount for that month.

If you retire on the 15th of the month, your first pension payment won't be the full amount.

Since you didn't work the whole month, you'll get a smaller check for those first 15 days.
