§ 21004 Work Injury Leave Benefits

“Leave of absence” also means absence from state service because of illness or injury that arose out of and in the course of employment and for which the member received temporary disability benefits under the Labor Code during the absence and did not receive full compensation as distinguished from the disability benefits for the period of absence. (Amended by Stats. 2012, Ch. 833, Sec. 7. (SB 987) Effective January 1, 2013.)
