§ 19775 Military Leave Salary Continuation

An employee who is granted a long-term military leave of absence and who for a period of not less than one year immediately prior to the effective date active duty begins has had continuous state service as defined by rule which is not broken by a permanent separation shall be entitled to receive his or her salary or compensation for the first 30 calendar days of active duty served during the absence. (Amended by Stats. 2013, Ch. 427, Sec. 84. (AB 1062) Effective January 1, 2014.)
