§ 13986 Identify Funding Grade Separation Projects

Key Takeaways

  • •The state will look for money in existing transportation programs to help pay for certain train and road projects that lost their funding.
  • •Projects that might lose other money or get delayed will get help first.
  • •The state must tell the Legislature by April 30, 2025, about the money they found for these projects.

Example

Imagine a train bridge project in your town that was supposed to get money but then lost it.

The state will try to find other money to keep this project going, especially if it might lose more money or get delayed. They will also tell the government about the money they found by next year.
