§ 12011 Governor'S Office Oversight Duties

Key Takeaways

  • •The Governor makes sure all government jobs are done right.
  • •If someone in a government job isn't doing their work, the Governor has to fix it.
  • •If the Governor can't fix it completely, they must tell the Legislature about it.

Example

Imagine a school principal isn't doing their job, and kids aren't getting the help they need.

The Governor would step in to fix the problem, like finding a new principal. If they can't fix it completely, they have to tell the lawmakers about it.
