• •If you work for a local government or agency, you can also serve on the board of a group that helps with insurance for local agencies.

Imagine you work at city hall, and there’s a group that helps cities share insurance costs. You can be on the board of that group and still keep your job at city hall.

The law says it’s okay to do both jobs, and no one can say it’s a conflict or problem.
