§ 5402 Organizing Permit Financial Conditions

Key Takeaways

  • •The boss can set rules on how money collected with a permit is saved and spent to protect people.
  • •If the group makes extra money later, they can pay back the people who started it, but only a fair share and after saving what’s required.

Example

A group gets a permit to start a new club and collects money from members.

The boss can say the money must be saved in a special account and spent only in certain ways. If the club later makes extra money, they can pay back the founders, but only a fair share and after saving what’s required by law.
