§ 4905 Merger Certificate Evidence

Key Takeaways

  • •After two banks merge, the surviving bank can issue a certificate proving the merger happened.
  • •This certificate is proof that the merger was done correctly.
  • •If someone buys something from the merged bank, this certificate protects them by proving the merger was real.

Example

Bank A and Bank B merge, and Bank A is the one that remains. You want to buy a house and get a loan from Bank A.

Bank A gives you a certificate showing they merged with Bank B. This paper proves the merger was real and legal, so you can trust your loan is safe.
