§ 31322 Licensee Head Office Relocation

Key Takeaways

  • •A company must get permission to move its main office.
  • •The new office must be easy for people to reach.
  • •The company must promise to follow all the rules at the new place.
  • •Moving the office shouldn’t hurt the public or be unsafe.

Example

A bank wants to move its main office from a busy downtown area to a quiet suburb.

The bank must prove the new office is easy for customers to visit, won’t break any rules, and won’t make things harder for the public. If moving would cause problems for customers, the bank must show it’s really important for the bank’s safety.
