§ 5942 Dam Fish Planting Orders

A dam is built on a river where salmon usually swim upstream to lay eggs. The dam stops the salmon from getting up the river.

Instead of building a special path for the salmon, the dam owner might have to put baby salmon into the river downstream so they can grow and swim upstream later.
