§ 302 Black Bear Hunting Regulations

This law says the commission must check every year if the rules about black bear hunting seasons are still good or need to be changed. They look at things that affect how many black bears there are and if they're healthy.

Key Takeaways

  • •The commission checks the black bear hunting rules every year.
  • •They look at things that affect bear numbers and health.
  • •They decide if the rules should stay the same, be removed, or changed.

Example

Imagine there are fewer black bears in the forest this year.

The commission would look at why there are fewer bears, like if there's less food or more sickness, and decide if they should change the hunting rules to protect the bears.
