• •The decision depends on the director and the Aquaculture Disease Committee agreeing the disease is present.

A disease is discovered in fish at a state-run hatchery close to a private fish farm.

The private farm must not be forced to quarantine or destroy its fish until the state also quarantines or destroys fish in the hatchery and in nearby wild fish populations.
