§ 1431 Fund Allocation And Appropriation

This law says the board must put money it receives into a fund and that the money can be used anytime to do the board's work.

Key Takeaways

  • •The board must deposit all allocations from Section 2791(f) into the fund.
  • •The fund's money can be used continuously for the board's duties.
  • •No extra permission is needed because of a special rule in the law.

Example

A city planning board gets money from a state allocation and puts it into a fund, then can spend it on road repairs without needing new approval each time.

The board deposits the allocation into the fund and can use that money immediately for any board task because the law says the funds are continuously appropriated.
