§ 74563 Judicial Relief For Noncompliance

Key Takeaways

  • •If someone doesn't follow the rules in a written notice, the boss or a group can ask a court to make them stop.
  • •The court can tell the person to stop right away (temporary) or forever (permanent).
  • •This is for when people ignore official warnings or orders.

Example

A factory keeps dumping dirty water into a river even after getting a written warning to stop.

The government can go to court and ask a judge to order the factory to stop dumping waste immediately. The judge can make this order temporary or permanent.
