§ 66643 Commission Appeal Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •If you're upset about a rule or decision made by the commission, you must first follow their appeal process before going to court.
  • •The commission's decision is final unless it's illegal, unfair, or has no proof to back it up.
  • •You can't skip the commission's appeal process and go straight to court.

Example

You get a fine from the commission for not following a rule at work, but you think the fine is unfair.

You can't just go to court right away. You have to first follow the commission's appeal steps. If the commission's decision is still unfair or has no proof after the appeal, then you can take it to court.
