§ 65084 Enforcement Injunction Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •If someone breaks the rules in this law, the government can ask a court to stop them.
  • •The court can also make the person follow the rules they broke.
  • •This is like a timeout for grown-ups who don’t follow important rules.

Example

A factory keeps dumping dirty water into a river, even though the law says not to.

The government can go to court and ask a judge to make the factory stop polluting. The judge can also order the factory to clean up the mess they made.
