§ 64181 Dairy Health Education Campaigns

The council shall conduct one or more campaigns of research, communication, and education designed to accomplish the following purposes, among others: (a) To gather, publicize, and disseminate accurate and scientific information that shows the importance of the use and consumption of dairy products in relation to public health, balanced diet, and balanced nutrition of children and adults. (b) To provide education programs on the value and health benefits of milk and dairy products to empower stakeholders, including educators, health professionals, and communities, to elevate the health of children and families in accordance with consensus science. (Amended by Stats. 2019, Ch. 304, Sec. 92. (AB 590) Effective January 1, 2020.)
