Key Takeaways

  • •You can't bring certain plants or things into the state if they're under quarantine.
  • •If you bring in any plant, you must tell the local official right away.
  • •You must keep the plant in one place until it's checked by an official.

Example

You order a rare plant online and it gets delivered to your house.

You must tell the local agriculture official right away that the plant arrived. Then, you have to keep the plant in its box until the official comes to check it. If you don't do this, you're breaking the law.
