§ 62751 Producer Referendum Suspension

Key Takeaways

  • •This law stays in effect until a certain group (producers) votes to stop it.
  • •The vote must be official and reported to the Secretary of State.
  • •If the vote happens, the law can be paused or stopped.

Example

Imagine a school rule that says everyone must wear uniforms. The rule stays until most students vote to change it.

This law works the same way—it stays active until the producers (like the students in the example) vote to stop it. If they vote to stop it, the rule goes away.
