§ 58573 Agricultural Commodity Market Promotion

Key Takeaways

  • •This law helps sell more farm stuff by making people want to buy it.
  • •It does three things: fixes problems with selling farm stuff, finds new places to sell it, and tells people why they should buy it.
  • •It can help sell one thing (like oranges) or a group of things (like all fruits).

Example

A group of California farmers wants to sell more almonds in other countries.

This law lets them get help to fix problems like shipping almonds, find new stores to sell them, and run ads to tell people why almonds are great.
