§ 57015 Farm Product Unloading Charges

Key Takeaways

  • •This law helps farmers sell their stuff fairly at markets.
  • •It stops people from charging too much money to unload farm products.
  • •The goal is to make sure prices are reasonable for everyone.

Example

A farmer brings apples to sell at a market, and the market charges a huge fee just to unload the apples from the truck.

This law says the market can't charge crazy-high fees. The fee has to be fair so the farmer can sell apples at a good price, and people can buy them without paying too much.
