Key Takeaways

  • •If someone is selling bad or illegal seeds, the government can tell them to stop selling those seeds.
  • •The seller can't sell the seeds again until they fix the problem and show the government they are following the rules.
  • •Once the problem is fixed, the government will let them sell the seeds again.

Example

A farmer is selling seeds that are not labeled correctly or are of poor quality.

The government can issue a 'stop-sale' order to the farmer, telling them to stop selling those seeds until they fix the problem. Once the farmer shows that the seeds are now good and follow the rules, they can sell them again.
