§ 42802 Regulatory Assessment Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •The boss (director) can make rules to help this law work.
  • •The boss can decide how much people need to pay and how to pay it.
  • •The boss must talk to a group of people (committee) before changing any rules.

Example

Imagine your school principal wants to make new rules about how much money each class needs to pay for a field trip.

The principal would first talk to the teachers and some parents (like the committee) before deciding the new rules and how much each student needs to pay.
