§ 32901 Milk Product Standards Compliance

Key Takeaways

  • •You can't sell or buy milk, cream, or fake milk that doesn't meet the rules.
  • •You can't mix milk or cream with butter and sell it as regular milk or cream.
  • •This applies to anyone selling, giving, or buying these products.

Example

A store sells a drink labeled 'milk' that is actually mixed with butter to make it thicker.

This is against the law because the store is selling a mixed product as pure milk, which doesn't follow the rules.
