§ 29554 Honey Quality Emergency Standards

Key Takeaways

  • •Emergency rules about honey must keep honey safe and good quality.
  • •New emergency rules can't make honey safety worse than before.
  • •The rules must actually help protect honey, not just pretend to.

Example

A big storm ruins lots of beehives, and the government makes a quick new rule to help.

The new rule must make sure honey stays clean and safe, not allow dirty or bad honey to be sold.
