§ 29553 Emergency Honey Standards

Key Takeaways

  • •In an emergency, the usual rules for honey (like how it's packed or labeled) can change.
  • •The government can use different rules for honey during emergencies.
  • •This is only for special situations, not normal times.

Example

A big storm destroys many bee farms, and there's not enough honey.

The government might let honey sellers use different bottles or labels to get honey to stores faster.
