§ 29194 Inspection And Certification Fees

Key Takeaways

  • •The boss can set fees for checks and approvals done by workers or people they pick (not the farming boss).
  • •These fees should be fair and only cover the cost of the work.
  • •The rules about these fees can be changed or added by the boss.

Example

You own a small food shop and need a health inspection.

The government can charge you a fee for sending someone to check your shop. This fee should only be enough to pay for the inspection, not extra.
