• •If you officially register your special marks or brands (like for your animals or products), the government will send you a letter to confirm it.

• •The government has to send this letter right away after they record your marks or brands.

You own a farm and you have a special symbol you burn onto your cows so everyone knows they’re yours. You register this symbol with the government.

After you register, the government will send you a letter to say, 'We got your symbol, and it’s now officially recorded.' This way, you know everything is good and your symbol is protected.
