§ 21881 Railroad Animal Collision Reporting

• •If a train hits and kills or hurts an animal, the train company must tell someone about it.
• •They have to report it really soon, but no later than 4 days after it happens.
• •This rule is for all train tracks in the state.

The train company has to report that the cow was hit. They can't wait more than 4 days to do this.
