§ 2187 Deputy Commissioner License Revocation

Key Takeaways

  • •A deputy commissioner can lose their license for the same reasons a regular commissioner can.
  • •The process to take away their license is the same for both.
  • •This rule has been in place since 1987.

Example

If a deputy commissioner breaks the rules, like taking bribes or not doing their job fairly, their license can be taken away.

Just like a regular commissioner would lose their license for doing something wrong, a deputy commissioner will face the same punishment in the same way.
