AI SummaryVerified

§ 2124 County Commissioner Employment Agreement

Key Takeaways

  • •If a county doesn't have a commissioner, it can ask a nearby county to share theirs.
  • •The shared commissioner has the same powers as if they worked in the county that hired them.
  • •The shared commissioner doesn’t have to live in or meet other local rules of the county that hires them.

Example

County A has no commissioner, but County B next door has one. County A asks County B if they can use their commissioner sometimes.

County B says yes, so their commissioner can now do the same job in County A, even if they don’t live there.
