§ 15071 License Suspension Appeals

(a) The secretary may, after a hearing, refuse to issue or renew, or may suspend or revoke, a license for any violation of this chapter or any regulation that is adopted pursuant to this chapter. (b) A person against whom a licensing action is initiated may appeal to the secretary by requesting a hearing. If a hearing is not requested, the licensing action shall constitute a final and nonreviewable order. (c) An appeal pursuant to this section shall be submitted in accordance with subdivision (d) of Section 15071.1 and with Section 1094.5 of the Code of Civil Procedure. (Amended by Stats. 2019, Ch. 497, Sec. 122. (AB 991) Effective January 1, 2020.)
