§ 14658 Violating Lot Disposal Orders

• •Holding continues until the lot meets the chapter’s requirements; disposal is done the way the secretary specifies.

A city seizes a vacant lot because the owner left junk on it. The lot still has junk, so the secretary can keep the lot under city control until the owner cleans it up, or decide to sell or demolish the lot.

The secretary looks at the lot, sees it still violates the rules, and then either holds onto it until the owner follows the rules or tells someone to dispose of the lot as they see fit.
