§ 9246 Election Officer Duties

• •If a city has to do something for an election, other people who help with the election have to do their part too.
• •Everyone who works on the election must follow the rules to make sure it happens the right way.
• •This rule is for all elections that follow this law.

A city decides to have an election for a new school rule.

The city tells everyone to help set up the voting places and count the votes. The people who run the voting places must do their jobs, like giving out ballots and making sure everything is fair. If they don’t, they’re breaking the rules.
