§ 7421 Presidential Primary Committee Allocation

Key Takeaways

  • •The person in charge of elections must count how many people can be on a special committee for each area.
  • •This counting must be done by January 31 before the presidential primary election.
  • •The count is based on rules in this part of the law.

Example

Imagine your school is picking a team to help plan a big game. The teacher has to decide how many kids from each class can be on the team.

The law says the elections official has to do something similar. They have to figure out how many people from each area can be on a special committee, and they have to do it by January 31 before the big presidential primary election.
