§ 6160 Presidential Primary Ballot Notification

• •The Secretary of State must tell each group (steering committee) if their candidate or uncommitted group can be on the presidential primary ballot.
• •This notice must be given at least 68 days before the presidential primary.
• •The decision is based on the rules in Section 6060.

A group wants their favorite candidate to be on the ballot for the presidential primary.

The Secretary of State checks if the group followed the rules in Section 6060. If they did, the Secretary tells the group at least 68 days before the primary that their candidate will be on the ballot.
