§ 15647 Article 3 Application Rules

This law says that most of the rules from Article 3 that start at Section 15620 are automatically used here, except for the specific sections listed, unless this law says something different.

Key Takeaways

  • •Most of Article 3’s rules (from 15620 onward) are automatically applied here.
  • •Sections 15620, 15621, 15622, 15623, 15624, and 15627 are left out.
  • •If this law later says something different, that new wording wins.

Example

A new city rule about park hours wants to follow the same rules that already exist for street parking, but it doesn't want to copy the parts about fines and permits.

Because of this law, the city rule will automatically use all the street‑parking rules from Article 3 starting at Section 15620, but it will skip the sections about fines and permits (15620‑15624, 15627) unless the new rule says otherwise.
