§ 72677 Auxiliary Board Conflict Rules

• •If you're on the board of an auxiliary organization, you can't make money from deals the board makes.
• •If someone on the board tries to make money from a board deal, that deal is canceled and doesn't count.
• •This rule is to make sure board members make fair choices, not ones that help their own wallet.

A person on the school board tries to sell computers to the school from their own company.

This is not allowed. The deal would be canceled because the board member is trying to make money from the school.
