§ 72676 Campus Commercial Operations Rules

Key Takeaways

  • •School stores or food places run by outside groups must pay for themselves—they can't lose money.
  • •If they make extra money, it has to be used for things the school board allows, like improving student services.
  • •The school board makes the rules on how the extra money can be spent.

Example

The school bookstore makes extra money from selling snacks and supplies.

That extra money can't just go anywhere—it has to be used for things the school board says are okay, like buying new books or fixing up the student lounge.
