§ 68016 Continuous Student Attendance Definition

“Continuous attendance,” as it refers to attendance at an institution, means a student claiming continuous attendance who has been enrolled full time, as determined by the governing board or district governing board, as appropriate, for a normal academic year at the institution since the beginning of the period for which continuous attendance is claimed. Nothing in this section shall require a student to attend summer sessions or other terms beyond the normal academic year in order to render his or her attendance “continuous.” (Amended by Stats. 1990, Ch. 1372, Sec. 229.)
