§ 59027 School Support For Needy Children

Key Takeaways

  • •If a kid's family can't afford school clothes, rides to school, or medical stuff like dentist visits or glasses, the school will help pay for it.
  • •The school boss (superintendent) checks if the family really can't pay, then uses school money to cover these things.
  • •The money comes from the Department of Education, not the family.

Example

A kid needs glasses to see the board but their family doesn't have enough money.

The school will check if the family can't pay, then use school funds to buy the glasses for the kid.
