§ 51780 Genetic Disease Prevention Education

It is the intent of the Legislature in enacting this article to generate and encourage the development of educational programs for the prevention of genetic diseases, disorders, and birth defects, in grades 7 through 12, and thereby to reduce the annual incidence of genetic diseases, disorders, and birth defects through preventive educational programs. (Added by Stats. 1981, Ch. 685, Sec. 1. Effective September 23, 1981.)
