§ 48602 24-Hour School Management

Key Takeaways

  • •24-hour schools are like regular schools but open all day and night.
  • •The people who run regular schools also run 24-hour schools.
  • •The school gets money from the state based on how many kids show up every day.

Example

A school district opens a 24-hour school where kids can go to class at any time of the day or night.

The school district treats this 24-hour school just like any other school. They count how many kids come each day and tell the state. The state then gives them money based on that count.
