§ 48401 Continuation Education Complaints

Key Takeaways

  • •If a school doesn't offer special classes for students who need them, anyone can complain.
  • •The complaint goes to the county school boss first.
  • •If the county boss agrees the school is wrong, they tell the state school boss to fix it.

Example

A parent notices their school doesn't have classes for kids who work during the day.

The parent can tell the county school boss, who checks if it's true. If it is, the state school boss makes the school follow the rules.
