§ 42631 School District Payment Orders

• •School districts must pay for things using written orders approved by the school board.
• •The school board must use special forms provided by the county superintendent unless they use a computer system.
• •The county or the school board can print and give out these forms.

A school needs to buy new computers for the classroom.

The school board must write an order on a special form to pay for the computers. If they don’t use the right form, the payment might not go through.
