§ 35520 Multi-County School Reorganization

Key Takeaways

  • •If schools from different counties want to join together, each county has to do their own part.
  • •The rules for this are the same in every county unless the law says something different.
  • •This only applies when schools are in more than one county.

Example

Two schools, one in County A and one in County B, want to become one big school.

Both County A and County B have to follow their own rules to make this happen. They can't just let one county decide everything.
