• •The state saves up to 15% of special federal money for schools that did really well with their projects last year.
• •These schools can use the money to make their good projects bigger and share their ideas with other schools in California.
• •If a school’s project is picked to be shared, that school becomes the helper for all other schools in the state for this special program.

Imagine a school made a super cool after-school program that helped kids read better. The program worked so well that lots of kids improved.

The state might give that school extra money to make the program even bigger and help other schools in California start the same program. That school would also be in charge of teaching other schools how to do it.
