§ 33516 Project Eligibility Criteria

• •The project must be new and not already done by other state or federal programs.
• •The project must add to existing programs, not replace them.
• •The project must be approved by the State Board of Education to get money.

A school wants to start a new after-school program for kids to learn coding.

The program can get money from the state if no other program is already teaching coding in that school, and if it adds to what kids are learning, not replaces their regular classes.
